- 1 cup canned low sodium chili or beans of choice
- 2 oz (12 chips) Tostidos Natural yellow Corn Chips
- 1 ½ cups shredded lettuce
- ½ cup diced tomato
- 2 tablespoons diced onion
- ¼ medium avocado, diced (about 1/8 cup)
- 1 tablespoon chopped or sliced black olives.
Heat chili. Layer ingredients on a plate in the following order: chips, chili, and vegetables. May top with salsa or other toppings of your choice.

Haystacks rock! You might want to change your misspelling of Tostitos, however. There is no "d" in that word.:-)

Hi! Yes, 1 haystack=all that food. It is a whole meal to me. You an also substitute food you like.

You know what would be helpful is to have the fiber and calorie content of each ingredient. That way we'd know how those things change if we leave out something we don't like or sub in something else.

Does 1 haystack = 1 serving mean that 1 cup beans, 12 chips, 1 1/2 cups lettuce, 1/2 cup tomato 2 T onions, 1/4 avacado and 1 T olives is equal to 1 serving? That is alot of food!

I could eat haystacks every day. Hard to stop with only 1 plate full. I cook my pintos from dry and some times add a little tomato sauce as they cook.

ok. i accept - 16.7g dietary fiber - COOL. BUT how much of that do I have to share? how about listing # of servings for the recipe ?
