Light Oat Waffles
Yields Makes 4 6" pancakes (4 - 1 pancake servings)

- 2 ½ cups water
- 2 cups regular rolled oats (old-fashioned
- 2 tablespoons whole grain flour
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Blend all ingredients except sesame seeds until creamy.
Preheat 6" non-stick waffle iron on high for 5-8 minutes.When iron is ready, sprinkle some sesame seeds on bottom of the waffle iron, pour ¾ cup batter in iron, and top batter with sprinkled sesame seeds. Close lid and bake for 8-12 minutes.
Eat right away or cool on baking rack before freezing. Be sure waffles are separated by wax paper when freezing in Ziploc bag.
