This is not my whole story, just Chapter One!
I immediately started changing my diet after I read the original E-chapters online. Although it sounded too simple and too beneficial, within the next three weeks, I had lost almost 8 pounds!
I'm also getting back to exercising. I've jogged about twice a week and started back on weight lifting knowing that will also make a difference.
Since I got the book this week, I've learned even more about what foods to eat and what not. I basically replace the white, refined junk, with fiber-rich good stuff. And, I'm reading all the contents labels. (Lots of brand labels and advertising stuff are really misleading!)
My weight loss goal is about 30 pounds, but the longterm benefits of eating more fiber (outlined in the book) are too great for me to ever change my diet back once I get there.

Congrats with your early success! I, too, am doing well. Started just 8 days ago and am already down by almost 6 pounds! I know that the wt loss will start to slow down, but it sure is exciting to see to see results so quickly. Feel much more energetic as well.

I'm glad you are seeing quick results. I'm not and I'm starting to get frustrated. I know that the long term benefits far outweigh the weight loss, but I've been doing this for over 10 days and have not lost an ounce. I've been working out 5 or 6 days a week and still nothing!! Any suggestions?

coco, sorry to hear that you arent seeing results yet. Do you have time in some of your days to fit in a walk? maybe your body is holding onto those pounds because of past dieting(?) I will bet that once the weight starts dropping, it will drop fast! I hope you realize your weight goals as well as feel happier and healthier. I am looking forward to sharing with you as we continue on. lexus1

Everybody is different. Fast results are always great and what we've learned to desire most. If you are exercising you are likely gaining more muscle and that prohibits you from seeing anything on the scale. My absolute best advice is to stay off the scale. I've seen so many people who didn't see results after 2 weeks of standing on the scale every day just give up. Your body is adjusting in that two to three week time frame. Don't go crazy on the diet. Just relax and take your time. Let your body adjust to the new way you are eating. You will see results. Drink a lot of water. Drink a lot of Water. Drink a lot of water. Remember you are changing your body and your body is detoxing from everything you've put into it and the crash diets you've jumped into before. Give it time, stay off the scale and just let the results happen. Don't try and force it. It will happen.

I'VE BEEN ON THE WATCH WHAT YOU EAT AND LOOKING AT ALL THE LABELS I'VE BEEN ON THE DIET FOR 1 MONTH AND HAVE LOST 10 POUNDS SO FAR..I'M REALLY LIKKING IT.

I just started!! and I am so optimistic! I have a dieting history in my past, with no results. I have a hormonal problems, for last two years I am taking tiroyd medication, and since that I am not gaining more weight, which was great at that time. I know that I still have some hormonal problems because very often I am feeling dizzy. But now I am really ready and hungry for more! lessss!!!!
