A Modern Cleaver Kitchen: Part 2
Asking someone to give up favorite foods would be like asking June Cleaver to enter her kitchen without her apron on. It would be scandalous. So we don't do it.
Fast Mexican Potato
Fast food can actually provide quick fiber-filled meals. Check out how Full Plate Diet's RoadWarrior used Wendy's and Mexican Food joint El Bravo to create a quick healthy food option.
Would YOU Eat Anything?
There's one reason and one reason alone that I ever pull up at the magic window presenting me with my lunch in exchange for a few dollars. Road Warrior 50-Yard Fiber Dash at Houston Hobby
So I'm coming in to Houston Hobby from Orlando on my way to Oklahoma City. I'm arriving at Houston Hobby gate 20 and am scheduled to leave out of gate 51 in about 40 minutes. I'm really hungry and need to get some fiber but I don't have a lot of time. The easy choice? Mexican! Sure enough, right past gate 21 as I'm hustling to gate 51 is a small food court. And there is a Pappasitos' stand. Yum!
Fiber at 35,000 Feet
Recently, I accompanied two of the Full Plate Diet authors on a trip to the Pacific Northwest, where they were giving weight loss seminars. The plane ride from Dallas to Seattle is a four hour flight, and I didn't anticipate an abudance of fiber rich foods in the air.
